MediaCore2 Cam Scheduler is an automation solution designed to connect compatible applications installed on Axis network cameras with the MediaCore2 platform.

It allows organizations to schedule live streaming events directly from MediaCore2 and automatically control when compatible camera streaming applications start and stop.

Automated Event Streaming

Once the camera is connected to MediaCore2, Cam Scheduler continuously checks the MediaCore2 event schedule.

When an event approaches, the system can automatically activate the configured camera streaming application and begin the live stream.

By default, the system can:

Start the stream 1 minute before the scheduled event.

Stop the stream 1 minute after the scheduled event ends.

This allows schools, sports organizations, broadcasters, venues, churches, municipalities and production companies to operate scheduled camera streams without requiring someone to manually start and stop every broadcast.

How It Works

MediaCore2 Cam Scheduler connects the Axis camera to your MediaCore2 platform using secure account credentials.

The user selects the MediaCore2 feed associated with that camera and saves the configuration.

The scheduler then checks MediaCore2 approximately every minute for upcoming events associated with the selected feed.

When a scheduled event is detected, Cam Scheduler communicates with the compatible streaming application installed on the Axis camera and automatically controls the streaming workflow.
